A new sausage and beer place is set to give Rosamunde and Pig & Pie a run for their money, and that’s Paprika (3324 24th Street). It’s taking over the space formerly occupied by Nicaraguan restaurant El Trebol, as Zagat reports, and it’s apparently set to open this week. We’ll bring your more details as we get them (we’re thinking from the name there might be an Eastern European influence here), and it looks like owner Peter Seckar has had a temporary beer and wine license for a couple months now, so it could just open any day.
