Momed, Alex Sarkissian’s Beverly Hills deli with a Mediterranean point-of-view, is celebrating three years through May. Each week will find a different special at the restaurant, with a showcase of some of its best dishes. Starting today, Momed’s wines by the bottle will be sold at 50% off through this Saturday. And of course, we say “Momed” and “best dishes,” and you think “duck shawarma,” which will be offered for just $10 during lunch starting this Sunday and lasting through Saturday. The week of May 12 will find Momed giving away its momo chips with every order of a hand roll or wrap, while a contest for a five-course dinner with wine for eight will be on during the ensuing week. To wrap the whole shebang up, Momed will donate a portion of the final weeks’ sales to Beverly Hills High School, which better not use the funds to fight the “Subway to the Sea.” For full details on Momed’s third birthday bash, check out the restaurant’s website.
