InoVino, a Wine and Panini Bar, On Its Way to Cole Valley

The former Hama-Ko

You’ll recall that we heard a hint last month of an Italian spot coming to the former Hama-Ko sushi space (108 Carl near Cole). Well, that is now confirmed, and the guy behind it is longtime Perbacco wine director Claudio Villani. He’s calling the project a “contemporary enoteca,” and it’s already a pretty cozy space with just a 30-person capacity. And he tells SF Mag that his inspiration comes from this place in Florence, which specializes in paninis. There will be at least 30 wines by the glass to start, and an international list with bottle prices topping out at around $65. The ETA right now is July. [SF Mag, Earlier]
