We were slightly concerned the other week when Guest Chef (5337 College Avenue) closed due to a “chef malfunction,” saying they’d reopen May 7. But it looks like maybe they meant April 7, because they’re now open again, featuring a prix fixe dinner featuring wines from Alameda’s Rock Wall Wine Company and a menu from chef Paul Skrentny.
