Eleni’s HBO-Themed Cookies; STREETS Gala Celebrates Southeast Asian Food

• On Wednesday, May 1, the sixth annual STREETS International Gala will bring together some of the city’s top chefs for a tasting event and silent auction benefit at the Astor Center. Nightingale 9’s Robert Newton, the Meatball Shop guys, and others will showcase their takes on Southeast Asian street food. Ticket prices range from $100 to $225 and can be bought here. • HBO and Eleni’s have partnered up to produce cookies with edible icons from popular shows. The first batch of cookies, launching this month, will feature Sex and the City–inspired frosting. [Grub Street]
