Get Your Fill of Pig on Sunday at Cochon 555

Lest you think the pork obsession that is currently gripping food television and not a few restaurant menus nationwide has abated, it’s time once again for Cochon 555 to swing through town. It’s Year Five for the traveling porkapalooza, which organizer Brady Lowe bills as a way of promoting the sustainable farming of heritage-breed pigs. But, in the end, it is kind of a bacchanal filled with a bevy of pork dishes prepared by five local chefs. This year’s contestants (because it’s a contest, too) are Scott Youkilis of Hi-Lo BBQ and Hog & Rocks, Mark Richardson of the Four Seasons, Omri Aflalo of Bourbon Steak, Adam Sobel of RN74 and Christopher Thompson of A16. The fun all starts at 5 p.m. at the Four Seasons on Sunday, and there are still tickets available, starting at $125. See a slideshow from last year’s event here.
