David Bernahl and Rob Weakley, the duo behind Coastal Luxury Management and founders of the Pebble Beach Food & Wine and Los Angeles Food & Wine events, are taking over the Downtown restaurant space that briefly housed Towne in the Watermarke Towers. The entrepreneurs, who run Monterey’s 1833 and Cannery Row Brewing Co., plan to turn the spacious location into a new, yet-to-be-announced restaurant concept. 705 W. 9th St. Downtown. [Eater]
