Ripert vs. Bourdain
We’re getting word that Anthony Bourdain and Eric Ripert stopped in to Dio Deka on Friday for some drinks and cheese while they were in the area for the two shows of their “Good vs. Evil” tour. They were on stage in S.F. on Friday night, and in San Jose on Saturday, and we believe the base of Los Gatos was chosen so that they might drop in on colleague David Kinch at Manresa, as well, though the restaurant’s reps won’t confirm that. (The Twitter-sphere, however, confirms that Bourdain did give a shout-out to Kinch and Manresa during their talk on Saturday.)
