We’re just a couple of days away from giving you a full look at the menu and dining room, but in the meantime, Grub Street has learned that Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s anticipated ABC Cocina will open on Thursday evening. Last June, we had the first word about the chef’s reboot of the old Nuevo Latino Pipa Tapas y Mas within ABC Carpet & Home. Vongerichten and Phil Suarez reportedly have a lot of menu surprises in store that involve Mexican and Latin American influences, as well as a lot of Greenmarket produce (plus, chiles!), but all will be revealed on Thursday. ABC Cocina will be open for dinner only for the first month or so, and will begin to offer lunch and brunch options shortly thereafter. [Earlier, Earlier]
