People smoked a lot of 420 on 4/20, leading to a traffic jam on Oak and Divisadero as stoned revelers streamed out of Golden Gate Park this past sunny Saturday. Upper Haight businesses saw the worst of it, and as Uppercasing reports, in addition to Booksmith having to shut down due to a near riot, there was “a veritable river of paper plates” spilling forth from Escape From New York Pizza (1737 Haight).
