Reps from the Wayland and its adjoining sandwich shop Animals send word that both venues will be closed for the next few days while larger windows — more conducive to Alphabet City summer breezes — will be installed. As such, the live music scheduled through Wednesday has been canceled, Coke and Fernet cocktails are temporarily kaput, and you’ll have to wait until Thursday to snag a pulled bacon, jalapeño, and refried bean torta.
