
We liked this idea the first time around and now that it returns with a new ingredient, we still think it’s an awfully smart way to breathe some creative life into a dinner meeting. It’s Tesori’s One Ingredient Dinner Party, in which instead of just booking you a private dining room and serving you the usual menu, Chef Andrew Deuel builds an entire menu around one seasonal ingredient, showing all the ways in which it can be used. (Tell us you can’t work that into your Powerpoint.) Spring’s will be fennel, beginning April 1 and running through the end of June; it’s $65 a person, with $20 wine pairings, and you need at least 10 people and to reserve it in advance; see the menu below.
