Like most who soaked up the groovy Indian vibes Mike “Slo-Mo” Brenner summoned with his 22-string Hindustani slide guitar during his residency at South Broad Street’s Tashan last year, owner Munish Narulla and Chef Sylva Senat were absolutely blown away by the drone-y, transcendent music. So much so, they’re throwing a party for him tonight to help celebrate the release of his new recording Tripti. They’re laying out a spread of complimentary grub, and offering specials on Kingfisher, which is like Bangalore, India’s answer to Yuengling Lager. The party gets underway at 7 p.m., with a performance from Brenner at 8 p.m.
