Sharing her thoughts with The Malibu Times, an architect on Larry Ellison’s empty PCH restaurant space denies that Wolfgang Puck is opening a seafood concept next to Nobu’s new Malibu restaurant at Carbon Beach, as suggested this week in an interview with the chef in Haute Living. “He’s not going to come into that space…it was just discussions…and I guess since no one really knows what’s going on they assumed what he had stated was a done deal,” says Studio PCH’s Severine Tatangelo, who designed the interior of the seaside structure. Instead, she claims a Mediterranean-themed restaurant will inhabit the space starting sometime this summer. [MT]
