The coffee chain announced an agreement with the New York Times that gives customers who are logged into the “Starbucks Digital Network” complimentary access to fifteen free paywalled articles a day, and of course there’s a catch: Latte sippers will only be able to take advantage of the partnership at AT&T; Wi-Fi-enabled stores, but also must choose from “up to three articles across five sections per day, including Top News, Business, Technology and Most E-Mailed.” Your last three free articles can be chosen from the special daily section — “Dining” on Wednesdays, for example. Or you can just read the actual, newsprint copy of the paper the guy before you left on the table. [NYT via GeekWire]
