Perilla’s Monday Night Spring Menu; Meatball Slapdown at the Brooklyn Brewery

The Cleveland welcomes the change in season with a new spring menu and opening of its intimate outdoor garden for lunchtime diners, starting April 1. Brunch and dinner will be served outside in the following weeks, if weather permits. [Grub Street]

• The 4th Annual Meatball Slapdown is happening this Thursday, April 4, at the Brooklyn Brewery. Competitors ranging from Mile End to M. Wells Dinette will go head-to-head. Tickets are $50 for all the beer and balls you can handle. [Grub Street]

Perilla has launched a Monday evening menu that’s being served family-style. The spring-appropriate dishes are on the lighter side, too. The meal is $34 per person, and the current menu includes dishes like lamb-stuffed artichoke. [Grub Street]
