Ricardo Zarate’s new Marina del Rey Peruvian Izakaya, Paiche, will not open as planned this coming Tuesday, with the restaurant’s press reps claiming “an unforeseen emergency in Chef Ricardo’s family.” The restaurant will now open on April 12, with reservations being taken anew on OpenTable and at 310-893-6100. Two weeks is a long time to wait, but you can always look at our photos of Paiche’s dishes and drinks and imagine what they taste like, right now, sans charge.
