A misguided contemporary art collector paid thousands of dollars for a re-creation of a McDonald’s soda cup at the Armory Show. But this is no rip-off — the sculpture comes enclosed in a fancy case that’s made of plastic! And that’s not the only weird McDonald’s news on the Interwebz today: Gizmodo created a neat infographic of extraordinary menu items you may not know about. They include the McAloo Tikki Burger, McSpaghetti, and McAfrica, a clearly controversial pita bread sandwich. It’d be more impressive if an artist created a sculpture of the Spam McGriddle.
