Not good: 51 people have died and at least 300 more were injured after ingesting bootleg liquor in Libya over the weekend. The hooch is available only on the black market because of a nationwide ban on alcohol. Likely homemade, the liquor appears to have contained deadly methanol. Libyan officials have reported injuries including blindness and kidney failure, and the dead range in age from 19 to 50. The batch of booze in question appears to have reached the market on Friday or Saturday. [AP via HuffPo]
