Peanuts, Cracker Jack, and dried-aged porterhouses: Pat LaFrieda will have three branded outlets at the stadium in 2013, so in addition to its steak sandwich stand, the purveyor will open a new spot on the Promenade Level behind home plate that’ll sell steamed buns topped with things like short ribs and fried chicken. A full-scale LaFrieda chop house will open inside the Delta Sky360 Club, where, along with all kinds of steaks and chops, the vendor will unleash yet another signature burger, this one called, appropriately, the “Citi-Field Amazin’ Burger.” It’s two ten-ounce patties made from a short rib and belly blend, topped with onion rings, some “red wine gastrique-compressed tomato,” garlic-dill pickles, and American cheese.
