Animal chef-owner Jon Shook and his actress wife, Shiri Appleby, had a baby on Saturday and—surprise!—she’s no son of a gun (guffaw). The couple, who waited until delivery to learn their child’s gender, welcomed a baby girl into this world. Appleby tells N.Y. Daily News that she’ll keep her professional name as an actress but legally will take on her husband’s last name as she likes the sound of “Shiri Shook.” Congratulations to the new parents!
