In a reversal of the Narita-to-LAX trend we saw last year, Hollywood’s Ikemen Ramen announces its plans to open a location in Yokohama, Japan. In a message to Grub Street, owner Max Kawabata (who also owned the now shuttered Agura on La Cienega) says that Ikemen will open in the city’s Ramen Museum on April 24 and clarifies that he’s giving Japan a taste of real “Hollywood ramen” in his quest to expand his brand “to all over the world.” The ramen-ya opened a Little Tokyo location at the start of this year.
