And while Chelsea was getting down with David Myers, boyfriend Andre Balazs, and miso butterscotch mochi for her birthday, Candy Spelling was suing the Century City high-rise where Myers’ new Hinoki & The Bird is housed. Even weirder than that, she is persuing legal action against The Century, where she paid $35 million for two floors, over the fact that owners didn’t open a promised restaurant. Huh? What? Are residents of The Century that old? Well, yes. But apparently, a different restaurant was due for residents to enjoy exclusively that was supposed to debut by the first of the year.
