So those rumors of former Stateside chef George Sabatino heading kitchen operations at Marcie Turney and Valarie Safran’s forthcoming projects at the former site of Fish and its dumbed-down offshoot Rhino Bar, proved unfounded. And that gig at Circles we mentioned yesterday, is just a one-night-stand. But at long last, word comes today that the up-and-coming chef has landed a permanent job. He’s taking over at Avram Hornik’s seasonal, riverfront hot-spot, Morgan’s Pier.
