Brunello Killer Sentenced to Four Years For Wine Crime

You may recall the incident last fall that rocked the wine world, especially in Italy, in which an unknown assailant dumped six vintages worth of pricey Brunello wine onto a winery’s floor. Well, the guy was dubbed The Brunello Killer, he got caught, and he turned out to be a former employee of the winery named Andrea Di Gisi. He was sentenced this week to four years in prison.
