
Two principals from Dutch Kills are angling for a full liquor license at the old Mercadito Cantina space in the East Village, EV Grieve notes. The blog noticed a public notice posted on the property’s front door listing Richard Boccato, who just also co-opened Sweetleaf in Long Island City, as a partner at the new space, which will be called Asphalt Jungle.
