Alain Giraud, the former Bastide and Anisette chef now behind his own Maison Giraud in Pacific Palisades, steps up to the plate at Strand House’s “Culinary Masters” series this Monday. The French chef is breaking out some big guns for the occasion, offering a $200 five-course menu attached to a caviar and Champagne tasting from Perrier-Jouet and Petrossian, and also featuring caviar in each of his dishes. In addition, The Beverly Hills Cheese Store will contribute a few specimens for dessert, upping both the luxury and the Frenchness of the whole night. See Giraud’s full menu below and if you’ve got 240 smackers burning a hole in those Façonable pockets, make reservations at 310-545-7470.
