But transplanted New Yorkers will still have something to bitch about when Santa Monica’s New York Bagel & Deli takes over the space, with a forthcoming opening at National and Barrington, sharing a strip mall with Lost & Found. A reliable stop for a morning schmear, the second link in this Westside chain is expected possibly as soon as next month, according to an employee with the Wilshire Blvd. branch. And trust us, New Yorkers, it may not be the answer to your prayers, but we’ve had worse bagels back in Gotham.
