Harlem Gains Another ‘Large’ Restaurant

The forthcoming Cambia Suites hotel, just one component at the long-delayed mixed-use complex coming to the site of the Victoria Theater in Harlem, will contain a “moderately-priced large restaurant” with seating for up to 300 people, the Post reports. The new restaurant will join big-box chain food tenant Joe’s Crab Shack, anchor tenant of a 100,000-square-foot retail property at 125th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard, and Whole Foods, which will open at 125th Street and Lenox Avenue in 2015. “The restaurant will be for hotel guests and also tourists who are seeing Harlem on a bus,” says Craig Livingston, a managing partner of Exact Capital, who doesn’t drop any other hints about his incoming, tourist-friendly tenant. “We want to get those folks off the bus.” [NYP, Earlier]
