Seats Available For Andrew Inman Benefit Dinner; the Cleveland Launches Brunch

Beauty & Essex is going to begin offering Champagne brunch on Sunday, March 3. It starts at noon; the earliest legal time to drink in New York. [Grub Street]

The Cleveland is also experimenting with midday meals. It’ll begin serving lunch on Thursdays and Fridays, and brunch on the weekends. The menu includes kale soft-scramble with tickler Cheddar cheese, brisket hash, homemade baked goods, and sides of pork belly. [Grub Street]

• Tonight, chefs from Pies-N-Thighs, Roberta’s/Blanca, the Wallace, and others are hosting a $150, five-course dinner at Clarkson, a new restaurant that will open in the West Village on March 5 at 225 Varick Street. Tickets also include wine, beer, and music; $100 from each sale will go toward the American Cancer Society, and $50 will go to Andrew Inman, a local chef who was recently diagnosed with brain cancer. Check out more details here, or call 646-246-4175 for reservations; there are still a few spots available. [Grub Street]

• Bed-Stuy’s Therapy Wine Bar will give away a free beer with every whiskey purchase tonight in honor of Maker’s Mark’s decision not to water down its bourbon. Happy Presidents’ Day! [Brokelyn]
