
They say that trying to talk to a real cookie fairy is somewhat like trying to catch a shooting star, but Liza de Guia of Food Curated — the web series that also went behind the scenes of a red-hot small-batch sriracha company and Greenpoint’s venerated ACME Smoked Fish — pulls it off without a hitch, and comes through with another inspiring round of Brooklyn artisanalism with a look at Paige McCurdy-Flynn of Cookie Fairy Sweets, who sells a new kind of baked treat. They’re fresh-baked and sold frozen, she says, but for a good reason.
