After 60 years in operation, Fatburger is finally confident enough to try and make it in the Big Apple. Is New York City more intimidating than Karachi? Fatburger thought so. The Riese Organization, a franchiser of TGI, Pizza Hut, and KFC in New York, signed an agreement with Fatburger (based on Santa Monica, CA) to open a Fatburger in Murray Hill by Spring of 2013. Every borough, except Staten Island, will eventually get a Fatburger. Ice Cube can finally get this Fatburger (we hope with egg and bacon) when in the City. Hopefully this does not mean he will ponder a move to the East Coast. After all, we can’t imagine the Guggenheim teaming up with Cube to do a promo video for a Robert A. M. Stern exhibit.
