Cupcakes: Somehow we’re still talking about them. On the heels of Georgetown Cupcake’s arrival in 90210, L.A.’s original chic cup-cakery, Sprinkles, is opening a shop at The Grove on Friday, providing some saccharine fuel for Black Friday’s fire. Founder Candace Nelson, who recently told us openings are “kind of like going through finals at school,” will be on hand to cut the ribbon at 10:00 A.M. when the bakery will bestow five golden tickets to its customers, baked into random cupcakes, and granting such rewards as a $1,000 shopping spree at The Grove and a dozen Sprinkles cupcakes every month for a full year to two future fatsos.
