Center City’s Oyster House is going to start schooling those curious about mollusk in the new year with a series of classes dubbed Oysters 101. In each session, the curriculum will focus on the history of oyster consumption in America, difference in species, sustainable aquaculture, beer and wine pairings, and classic accompaniments. Classes take place on Saturdays (January 19 and 26, and February 26), cost $45, and make great gifts. Enrollment is open now.
