The chef and menus aren’t all that’s new at Old City mainstay Fork. Owner Ellen Yin and recently appointed chef Eli Kulp just rolled out a new weekday lunch special that’s available Wednesdays through Fridays. The deal puts forth a two-course meal for $25. The daytime prix fixe menu will change regularly, but currently includes things like crispy chicken nuggets with spicy mustard and agrodolce; roasted skate with clams, smoked fingerlings, chorizo and parsley sauce; a lamb burger with yogurt and crispy pickled onion rings; and a hanger steak sandwich on weck with caramelized onions and roasted sweet potatoes. In addition to the rotating specials Fork is offering housemade bialys with cream cheese and doughnuts in the prix fixe.
