Earlier this week we mentioned how we were dying to get into The Mildred for a taste of chef-owner Michael Santoro’s bouillabaisse for two. Now we have another reason to pine for the newly opened Bella Vista spot: It’s rolling out brunch service this weekend. Starting tomorrow brunch will be served every Saturday and Sunday, staring at 10:30 a.m. Santoro and co-owner Michael Dorris have drawn up a menu of hearty cast iron-cooked plates that include baked sourdough pancakes with roasted smokehouse apples and Bliss maple syrup; and pan roasted hanger steak and eggs, served with crushed sweet potatoes and chives.
