
In July, the LA Times article on Strand Brewing nearly brought the emo, wannabe brewer in us to tears. It seems in a matter of three months, the situation for the brewmasters in Torrance has improved and they’re finally able to get out of South Bay for a quick curated event. Strand Brewing will take their bottles on the road and visit Upper West in Santa Monica on October 17th at 7:00 P.M. Chef Nick Shipp is presenting a globally inspired 5 course menu. The final beer (paired with dessert) is Strand’s chocolatey Batch 100 oaked Imperial Stout (abv 9.1%), which means everyone should carry a designated driver in their pocket. Complete menu below.
