Back up for grabs

We reported back in August of a new liquor license application, for a restaurant called Roaring Donkey with a full bar, going into the former frame shop on the prime Castro area strip at 2349 Market Street. A tipster tells us today that for-lease signs have popped back into the windows at the space, and the liquor license app has been removed — though it is still pending on the ABC site for now. As we noted originally, restaurant partners Brian Tatko and Kelton McMullen appeared to have had an earlier deal fall through in a different neighborhood. [Earlier]
