Eagle Rock’s The Oinkster is bringing back three of its “Burger Week” creations to raise funds for a cook named Daniel Espiridion, who is currently in the ICU following a hit and run that left him injured. A percentage of all the restaurant’s sales through October 22 will go to his care. Last June, The Oinkster’s “Burger Week” involved riffs on classic fast food burgers, some of which will return this week on specific dates this week to entice you through the door and generate extra aid for their friend. Today finds the bacon-topped Blue Burger on offer, tomorrow the Jack-in-the-Box-jacking Sourdough Josh, and Friday you can buy the double-stacked Big Maxx, all of which will be retired from service thereafter. The restaurant is also seeking donations for Espiridion’s care through PayPal.
