
Nan Modern Food, the Thai-French BYOB that was turning table at the corner of 40th and Chestnut streets long before City Tap House, and Jose Garces’s Mexican-flavored Distrito arrived on the scene there, is closed. It’s been out of commission since spring, while pioneering chef Kamol Phutlek dealt with health issues, according to the Insider. But it’s now gone for good.
