Max Wade
We were mistaken in thinking that the testimony being heard last week in Marin County was actually the beginning of the trial for 18-year-old Max Wade, the kid who stands accused of both attempting to murder a girl who scorned him and her boyfriend, and of stealing Guy Fieri’s yellow Lamborghini. It was actually just a preliminary evidentiary hearing, and a judge has now decided that there is plenty of evidence for a trial to proceed, at a date still to be set. Wade could ultimately face a very long prison sentence, if convicted. [Marin IJ, Earlier]
