Pumpkin isn’t the only thing going into pies this fall. Holly Ricciardi, who recently opened Magpie Artisan Pie Bakery & Boutique on the 1600 block of South Street, just updated her offerings for the fall, and there are such seasonal ingredients as apples, pears, pecans, and butternut squash going into her sweet and savory pies. Just one leverages the ubiquitous orange gourd-like fruit. The menu lines up five new sweet pies, and three more savory ones.
