Pumpkins
Those predisposed to pumpkins will probably go out of their gourds when they find out about what’s going on tonight at Fairmount’s London Grill. Co-owner Terry Berch McNally and her staff are celebrating the almighty Great Pumpkin with pumpkin beers, including Dogfish Head’s Punkin poured from a pumpkin firkin, and a pumpkin carving contest. Parties interested in entering their handiwork in the competition should have their pumpkins carved and ready at the bar by 7 p.m. Winners will be announced at 8 p.m. One lucky winner will receive a gift basket of rare and special beers.
