Eat Drink Laugh, the bon vivants behind the Paramount and the 21st Amendment, open Lincoln Tavern and Restaurant today in Southie. The menu has a little bit of everything, but wood-fired pizza is the main attraction.
There’s also kobe sliders topped with the requisite quail egg, mac and cheese with the requisite truffles, and Pretty Things on tap, as well as the aforementioned Moscow Mule and a drink called “Southie of the Border.” We’re actually more psyched by the brunch menu, which appears to have gingerbread pancakes with cream cheese frosting and chicken ‘n waffles.
The space looks quite handsome: Kind of bistro-y, and very large. And no off-price shoes in sight!
