You can thank that blowhard Sandy for putting the kibosh on what was likely going to be the last good outdoor hang until the Mummers Parade on New Year’s Day. The good folks at Le Vurtu sent word that tonight’s Autunno alle Brace, the fall cookout that was supposed to bring us dishes from chefs Joe Cicala (Le Virtu), Scott Schroeder (South Philadelphia Tap Room, American Sardine Bar), and George Sabatino (Stateside), has been postponed due to the weather. It will be rescheduled, and tickets sold will be honored. Exactly when it will take place hasn’t been announced yet. Stay tuned for more.
