So, everything is happening this weekend. The city is expecting some million or more extra visitors between the Blue Angels, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, the America’s Cup regatta, the Castro Street Fair, the Giants in the playoffs, the 49ers, and whatever else we’re forgetting. Expect trains to be full, streets to be busy, and the mood to be buoyant. Today we’re hearing that John Fink of the Whole Beast, he who brought his delicious lamb poutine at Outside Lands, will be doing a command performance in Golden Gate Park for Hardly Strictly, this time with free admission. He’ll also be serving lamb sausage, Mulligatawny soup, and gyros, and in addition to all these other food vendors, that is good news. Have fun out there, kids.
