
Last night, at the Terra event space in SoMa, the Michelin folks feted the San Francisco chefs who were given stars in this year’s guide. Among the attendees were a beaming Matt Accarrino and Shelley Lindgren, who got their first Michelin star for SPQR; a proud but humble Christopher Kostow, whose three stars at Meadowood were renewed for a second time; and a contented Joshua Skenes, who had his two stars at Saison renewed as well. But no one was quite so excited and camera-ready as Dominique Crenn, who earned two stars at Atelier Crenn and became the first female chef in the U.S. to do so. [Earlier]
