Instead of waiting until its lease expires in late November, Campanile will bow out gracefully with a Halloween party. The L.A. Times announces that Mark Peel’s last supper in the space will happen on October 31 at a “black and white” masquerade soiree featuring an all-you-can-eat meal prepared by this 23-year-old restaurant’s chef and owner. Campanile will function as usual through lunch service that same day, then kick-off its swan song at an $89 jam featuring food stations, passed apps, a jazz quartet, and probably a couple of genuine ghosts.
