If you want a Whopper, you’ll have to wait. A study commissioned by industry publication QSR (Quick-Service Restaurants) magazine revealed today that Wendy’s boasts the fastest drive-through service, whereas Burger King has the slowest. Wendy’s customers can get in and out in 129.75 seconds, while BK customers will spend 201.33 seconds idling at the window doing God knows what. This isn’t shocking: Slowness is a Burger King hallmark. In April, they announced plans to get their pork and poultry products from 100 percent cage-free sources … by 2017.

The King has fired back, saying that “customization” might delay their sluggish service process. (Face it: Bacon sundaes can’t just be thrown together!) In other news, Taco Bell came in second, just behind Wendy’s, though it probably sends people running for the bathroom more quickly.
