Former Angeleno restaurant reviewer Brad A. Johnson, the self-described “best food critic in America and worldwide,” is now offering his thoughts for Time Out L.A, the weekly New York magazine’s long-awaited West Coast digit. Johnson pinned three out of five stars on L&E; Oyster Bar most recently, positing that Silver Lake’s popular shellfish shop “channels the spirit of the sort of old-school oyster shack you might expect to find on a remote oceanfront highway.” Last we’d heard from Johnson, he let Grub Street know he was going prime-time, while earlier this month, we learned that he’ll be going full-time with O.C.
